Center for Cyber and Information Security (CCIS) is a partnership with national cyber security public and private stakeholders to enhance research, training and education. Gjøvik University College (GUC) is, together with Statkraft AS, Statnett SF and other stakeholders, operating the Norwegian Center for Cyber and Information Security (CCIS). CCIS focuses on advanced research, education and training. CCIS is co-located with the Norwegian Information Security Laboratory (NISlab). CCIS is becoming one of the largest academic research groups in information and cyber security in Europe and is establishing itself as a national resource and contact point.
Together with a dedicated Professor, this position will establish a team who will be central in a new research group focusing on cyber security within Smart Grid, critical infrastructures, control systems and ICT-accessible objects and systems, as part of the newly established CCIS. The research group is a result of collaboration and co-funding by the Norwegian academia, energy producers and distributors, including Statkraft AS and Statnett SF.
