Campaign organisers ENISA (European Union Agency for Network and Information Security) and DG CONNECT, the EU The Directorate‑General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology, have identified the key themes as Cyber Hygiene and Emerging Technology.
What is ECSM?
European Cyber Security Month runs from October 1-31 every year and its main goal is to promote cyber security among citizens and organizations, change behaviour, and provide resources to help users protect themselves online. While the key message is always that cyber security is a shared responsibility, during the period of the campaign, ENISA and partners publish reports and organise events and activities based around specific themes.
