SMEs are the backbone of the European economy but are not using cloud services at the expected rate because of concerns about security and privacy issues and complex terms. The session focuses on Data Protection, Security and Privacy in the cloud that are of vital importance for building a trusted cloud for Europe’s single digital market. The session offers crucial insights on these issues in a pragmatic way. We explain the real challenges for a dependable cloud and chart a course to overcome the issues. We will facilitate the exchange of EU project cluster results strengthening European leadership in cloud computing.
This session is hosted by the following European initiatives: SLA-Ready, CLARUS, CUMULUS, MUSA, SLALOM, SPECS and WISER.
