The European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) has been involved for several years now in a mapping exercise of the cybersecurity strategies in Europe and the world. The initiative had not only produced a listing of all the related strategy documents but also an interactive tool that illustrates the status of the strategies woldwide.

ENISA activities in the field are focusing on supporting the development and implementation of the National Cyber Security Strategies and on awareness raising on good practices. Furthermore it promotes alignment with the provisions od the EU Cyber Security Strategy through an evaluation framework that consists of a logic model presenting a set of steps and a list of possible key performance indicators (KPIs); illustrating the underlying logic of recurring components of NCSS.
