Antonio Alvarez Romero, consultant at Atos, was recently interviewed by the Euranet Plus radio station about the WISER project, a new innovation action under Europe’s Horizon 2020. In the interview, Antonio explains the main innovations that WISER will take to market over the next 30 months.
WISER will design a real-time risk assessment platform to quickly identify monitor and mitigate risk factors for both SMEs and critical infrastructures.

It will achieve this in two ways: a pre-packaged risk management solution for SMEs, and a Risk Management Platform as a Service (RMPaaS) mode of operation for critical infrastructures or highly complex cyber systems requiring the implementation of special controls within the ICT system to be monitored.

WISER will provide, a truly dynamic, scalable and flexible monitoring approach with accurate tamper-proof transference of data from signalling components to the monitoring core. This will be accomplished by testing and evaluating the integration of both traditional signalling components and non-traditional, sector-specific components such as smart meters and mobiles make to finally make cyber-risk management an integral part of good business practice.
