The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) has just released the updated version of its Cybersecurity Market Radar, a visualisation tool representing product vendors, service providers and consultancy offerings across the European cybersecurity market.

The purpose of the Radar is to identify deployment-ready cybersecurity products and services and boost their visibility. The information is presented in terms of a taxonomy of cybersecurity capabilities developed by the ESCO working groups dealing with market analysis, investments, and cybersecurity companies and regions. 

Five cybersecurity capabilities are identified:

• Identify
• Protect
• Detect
• Respond
• Recover

Curently the Radar represents a small sample of European cybersecurity companies. Future versions are expected to be more comprehensive.
