At the recent Cyberwiser.eu Open Pilots Workshop in Pisa, more than ten organisations signed up as pilot users of the CYBERWISER.eu cybersecurity training solution.

Representing a cross-section of industrial, academic, and technology realities across Europe and the UK, these organisations will be the first to experience customised cybersecurity training on the CYBERWISER.eu platform, a fully integrated system designed in a modular format to meet the specific needs of individual learners or corporate teams alike.

As well as a full suite of web-based, theoretical training courses, CYBERWISER.eu offers hands-on training within an experiential cyber range platform where organisations can expose their staff to a simulated environment of cyber incidents and attacks, honing and evolving their skills in preparation for dealing with real attack episodes.

Attendees at the Open Pilots Workshop in Pisa were able to discuss the specific needs of their cybersecurity training pilot with the CYBERWISER.eu team, and also to test the CYBERWISER.eu platform in a live session. Special guests on the day included representatives from the four European Cybersecurity Competence Centres, ECHO, cybersec4Europe, Sparta, and CONCORDIA.

Says Trust-IT Services Director Paolo Lombardi, “We’re very pleased with the initial reactions to the CYBERWISER.eu platform. Enabling organisations to shape and then undergo customised cybersecurity training is a significant milestone for the project and we fully expect to learn as much as our users do.”

A report on the day’s proceedings is available here.
